I have found my Grandma Florence Jessup (married Jesse Ryder 1910 ) came from Halling Kent. Her father Frederick married Harriet Martin and they were known as the Martin Jessups. Some of the family came from Snodland and Cuxton Kent. My Grandma's elder sister emigrated to Canada by died shortly after arriving. Her husband remarried and moved to USA.This was Walter Faiers She was Mabel Martin Jessup. One of their daughter's was called Iris and married Gilbert Diamantine and she had a daughter Rita Diamantine.Iris died May 1988. Rita's two sons lived in Inverness and Seattle.Iris lived in the Haywards Castro Valley area for 60 years. Has anyone any connections to these names |
