I am searching in behalf of my friend Thomas Wigham the 2nd (1950) who is trying to trace any of his family who may be living in Perth Australia. Thomas' dad was Horsley Stephen Wigham who was born approximately 1903-4 in Thornley, County Durham. He had a sister Ethel (who married Ernie Smith), another sister possibly Margaret? A brother Edward (Ted, who married Mary) and another brother whose name is not known. Horsley was also married to Mary and they had 4 children - myself Thomas, Maurice, Raymond and Magurite. If anyone know's any of Thomas family I would be delighted to hear from them. All of Thomas' family were born and breed in Coldharbour Nr. Dorking, Surrey, England. Thomas Wigham 1st who is Horsley's brother was born approx. 1910-1920 moved from Thornley, Co Durham to Perth, Aus. Served in Austrialian Army in Burma and think he caught Malaria which caused some loss of sight. He had two daughers who may have been born between 1938 and 1948. Any information regarding this family would be much appreciated as Thomas Wigham 2nd is visiting Australia and would like to meet up with relatives. Thank you.
