My dad's father was Frank Rattue who lived and worked in Bournemouth and Poole for most, if not all of his life. He was married to Grace (nee Fawkes) and had three sons, my uncles Richard (Dick), William (Bill) and my dad Terrence (Terry). There seems to be a large Wiltshire Rattue family but I've never known very much about the Bournemouth/Poole Rattue's, I know very little infact, only that there were many brothers/sisters/cousins and consequently the family seems very 'widespread'. My dad has always told me that if Rattue is spelt with 'ue' at the end, then we must be part of the same family!
