hi everyone my mams maiden name is chaney,i know she had a sister violet who went to canada in 1948 with 2 cousins.i think she was married to a mayhew who died in the war.then she married again name stacey.he also passed away/.then in her 80s she married again her new name was dove,violet was born in richmond north yorkshire in 1903.she passwd away in 2003/4.in canada.we used to write to each other.she lived at st lawrence street prescott ontario canada,i know i have still got family living there violets sons and families.Herbert and Ernest and would like them to get in touch.im still at the same address my aunt wrote to me before.if anyone out there can help it would be much appreciated. thanks my aunt parents name is rose lillie and henry layzell regards joyce |
