Hello to all the Shimells Jeremy Shimell has traced his family back to the 19th C and then drawn a blank. We have a good idea that he is related to the Shimells of Paington, Devon. We think a son (journey man carpenter) travelled to London to find work sometime in the 1800s, but cannot be sure. If there are any Shimells out there who can trace their lineage to Devon, or indeed London (Fulham) or Brighton, where we can, then we would be delighted to hear from you, Thanks, Jeremy |
