Hello I'm Richard Day. I am looking for information on my Grandfather CHARLES SYDNEY DAY born 1887 in St Albans Hertfordshire. Charles was last called up as a reservist for WW1 in 1914 and was captured in France at Le Cateau 25/26 August 1914. He remained a POW in Germany until the end of the war when he was repatriated. He is last known to have attended the funeral of his sister, Charlotte Annie, 7th December 1918.in St Albans. Any further info would be greatly appreciated, Regards Richard Day
