edgar arthur hooper born 1943 in birmingham father bert hooper born 1913 in newport monmouthshire grandfather edgar charles hooper born in abergavenny monmouthshire 1881 great grandfather edward hooper born 1859? llanover monmouthshire . have found reference to henry hooper born 1850 in upton bishop herefordshire as well as kate born in 1901 at bromarsh linton. louisa born in try nr ross . it would seem that members of the family migrated to abergavenny in monmouthshire where they appeared in the 1881 census I have tried to find out more by visiting abergavenny but with no success edgar charles born in 1881 joined the 1st batn south wales borderers in brecon as a boy soldier he was killed in France on sept 26 1914 i can be contacted at [email protected] |
