Searching for relatives of my maternal Gran, christened Fanny Frances Isherwood circe 1897, in Featherstone, Near Pontefract Yorkshire. It is known that she had an older sister named Hanna (Hill) and a younger sister Ruth (Cooper) and two brothers, Mat(thew) and Henry. Hanna and Mat lived around Featherstone, Henry worked in Prince of Wales colliery at Pontefract and Ruth married Jack Cooper from London and lived in Huddersfield. Jack was Chief engineer at David Brown tractors. My Gran married Jonah Baggott in 1918 and later went on to be licencees of the White Hart in Pontefract. Lost contact with relatives. |
