Whincup one-name study. Up to 1901 we have circa 95% of Whincup's, and variants, linked to two main Tree's (Off line). Use Google to find Whincup one-name study website, which details over 30 years of research. There are two main groups Yorkshire and Suffolk. Most in Suffolk group have Whincop variant name. Four main family lines in Yorkshire which we refer to as A B C & D. Most lead back to Hunsingore, near Wetherby, Yorkshire.
