There is a highly detailed website with vast resources on the various Norfolk families at the following :- http://www.norfolkfamilyhistory (for some reason I am being prevented from adding the usual suffix to the above website address so you will have to type this in yourselves - in fact the censorship is such that I cannot even spell out the usual punctuation mark that precedes the short abbreviation for a company and then another of those punctuation marks finishing with the two letter abbreviation for our country - sorry this is cryptic but clearly there is some kind of gremlin preventing the spelling out of complete website addresses here!) This site includes an index of almost all Norfolk entries in the Principal Probate Registry and the offer of information and published Norfolk family trees. Also included are ideas on the origins of the Norfolk surname which are more varied than you might think! Do visit the site and see where your own Norfolk name connects with those already published.
