I have been searching for my grandfathers early years for about 5 years, birth and family or marriage searches have not provided any links, any leads would be appreciated. William Beresford died in Maidstone 25.01.1960 certificate quoted 71 years old. His wife Elizabeth nee Judd born 31.10.1896 died 02.09.1980 aways lived in Kent William lived in Maidstone Kent during the WW2 when I moved from London and I lived at the family home 123 Mote Park Rd for a short time in 1944/5 They had had five children two living, my enquiries with livng relatives has not provided any of Wiliams history or birth place before abt 1920. He refered to Nuneaton and Chesterfield. John Selves |
