my name is john dolan.i am trying to find john dolan who had a son edward born 1876.edward was listed as missing in the first world war and he lived in rotherham with his wife and children.this was my grandfather but it is possible his father,john,came from ireland.icannot trace a birth record for edward so it is possible he was also born in ireland.john dolan according to edwards marriage certificate was a seaman ,deceased.
