Hi I am Sue and my grandmother was a Tucker. In the 1871 census they lived in Stour road .Shaftesbury, near Gillingham Dorset. thomas 62 Rhoda 48 George 32 caroline 7 Mary A 32 emily 5 herbert 3 willim 34 anna 13 ellen 37 mary !2 sidney 9 charles 7 sarah 5 ernest 2 herbert 3 In 1891 they all moved to new lane e.stour no.7 william 54 Ellen 57 ernest 22 and kate 19 no,8 anna s 33 Alice 8 bertha 7. So i think anna had alice and bertha out of wedlock hence the names all being tucker. In 1901 alice was put as neice living with her aunt Kate who had married Samuel Howe and lived in Gillingham.. If anyone recognises any of these names please get in touch. Many thanks in anticipation Sue
