Hi Jason,

Sorry but the only info I have re the Bowkers is that my gt. aunt married into the Bowker family and had a son known by the family as Tom. No idea where the Bowker side originated from.

I have just received the marriage cert of my gt.aunt ALICE HUGHES who married an ERNEST BOWKER in 1924 at Christ Church Salford. Lancashire.

ALICE HUGHES age 28yrs.
living at 47 Lambert St. Salford at time of marriage.
father JOHN HUGHES labourer

ERNEST BOWKER age 30yrs. Labourer.
Living at 70 Albion Street. at time of marriage.
ather GEORGE BOWKER a coal dealer.
one of the witness's ELIZABETH BOWKER.

If the above Alice Hughes is part of your tree then I would really really appreciate contact as I need to progress with my tree. I do have family photos.
