I've been looking for my g/granddad Patrick Ryan and where he originated from for quite a while now and my late father was also unsuccessful in the quest. In the last few days though I've come accross 2 Patricks of the right age getting married in Tipperary both in 1872. Fingers crossed but not getting hopes up yet. Alan Ryan

The only Ryan I know now lives in Belturbet Co Cavern if this helps she was the daughter of Catherine (Kate) Wallace who was born 1910

hi, I am looking for my family, the Ryans, from dublin area in ireland, my father came from a large family , his name was George Ryan, born 1919.
funny enough, my Brother is Timothy Ryan, lives in surrey, not your Dad!
but we may have a common relation.
