Hi Melina, My name is Alan Cassidy. I was wondering where u might of been born. We are all related. There are about 12 variants of the spelling of our surname. Our ancestors originated from Ireland from County Fermangh. If ur interested their is a website dedicated to The Cassidy's. The address is: www.cassidyclan.org

My grandfather, George Cassidy, also known as Cass, did a lot of research into the family tree. His research has somehow been lost. All i can remember for sure in the tree was a John Cassidy in Ireland, back in the 1500s, who was either a shoemaker or tanner, something like that. He was also a bit of a scoundrel, and so my grandfather stopped looking back any further. Would love to hear from anyone else who may be a descendant of this John Cassidy. Melina Cassidy .com
