My gt. gt. grandfather was Thomas Hare Sorrell, who was born on March 8, 1807. He was a Steel Pen Maker in Old Ford, Bow, as was his father, Robert Haste Sorrell. Thomas Sorrell married Sarah Anne Davidson on December 25, 1828, in St. Leonards, Bromley. They had 12 children, including my gt. grandfather, William Sorrell, b. March 21, 1847, in Old Ford, Bow. I am trying to trace the origins of the family. I have done a lot of research on the London Sorrells and will be pleased to help anyone researching these. Maggie Johns (formerly Sorrell)
