hello Lana,
My x 3times great grandfather George Ballantyne married Hannah Archibald in Glasgow 02/12/1791
They had a son John born in Walston in 1795
At the moment I have no other information on Hannah Archibald & her parents etc as I have first followed down the Ballantyne line so no idea if she is one of the mining family you mentioned
