Not sure how far back your ancestors are from Sydenham but I have the Sayer family of North Yorkshire back to 1764. One of their descendants could have gone south. All the males are named George, one is George Sydney and he had brother Richard and sister Margaret. If you think there might be a connection or if you have any info that might help me fill in the blanks pleae let me know. Good luck. Cheers, Sally

I have been researching the Sayer family from Sydenham, South London. I am a decendent and would behappy to contact others out there and share info'. Crossed fingers, Derek.
William Sayer and Mary Ann Rudd married 1860 and were in Sydenham from 1864 and through the 1800's with their growing family.
