Hello Tessa,

I have been successful in tracing my Holland ancestry in Dorset back to the middle of the 18th. century with many entries of names earlier, at present not tied up into a continuous line. Would your book on my family name help? I would be most grateful if it could.

Thank you in anticipation,

Bob Holland.

Hello Tessa
Thank you for this offer to look up the early Hollands.
We are interested in George Holland who married in 1806 in Kirkburn Yorkshire England to Jane Pennock. One of their children Robert born 1822 kirkburn Yorkshire married Ann Robson they came to NZ on the Lankcashire Witch in 1863. so there are a lot of Hollands in NZ who are descendants of them. I would be interested if this family is in your book.
Thanking you
Diana and Keith Holland

My name is Tessa Stonehouse, but my maiden name is Holland. My father John Thurston Holland was extremely interested in the history of the Holland family and had a book that covered the history of the Hollands from pre the Norman Conquest. The book is still in my Mother's possession and I may be able to help anybody wanting to find out a little bit more about their family pre 1850. The book was written by a Holland Ancestor in the 19th century.
