CHRIS CHATTAWAY - 4 MINUTE MILE RUNNER! 1954 Just found out through my dad today that through my grandma's side (his mums side), that the above Chris Chattaway is related to her line of the chattaways (her maiden name). Does anyone else have a connection with the above name or know anything about him. I am guessing he was born 1925ish or tiny bit later at most, as they were in ther mid/late 20's when himself and Roger Bannister ran in the 4 minute mile. Helen |

I have a Peter, Pat, Pauline and Donald Chattaway in my tree all born circa 1932-1938. I'm not sure where they from but their father is Stanley born about 1885. Is this the same family do you think? |
