	Trying to trace my grandmothers family. Her name was Elizabeth Hunter & she married William McDevitt. They lived in Toxtheth & the Dingle, Liverpool. Any help much appreciated

Member Since: October 2007 Posts: 0 Send Message	Hi Susan, My maiden name was McDevitt and I was born in the Dingle in 1952. My father's name was Henry McDevitt (born 1919 in the Dingle) and his father's name was Richard McDevitt also born in Liverpool - Toxteth. I believe William was my grandfather's brother but I;m not entirely sure. My father was an only child born to Jane Collins nee Davies she married Richard in 1917 and had been married before. Richard had also been married before to Catherine McShane in 1893 and they had at least four children. I hope this helps Jan Lee (nee Janice McDevitt)
