F. Philip Holland ; - retired farmer, former concert pianist, hotelier, present working partner in J. Sidebotham & Son, Jewellers, 9.Grove Parade, Buxton, Derbyshire, England. Also: Performance Poet ! Please visit my website for further information. www.fphiliphollandpoetry.co.uk Seven unbroken generations of farmers in Earl Sterndale, Nr. Buxton, Derbyshire. In my father's family, (Frank Edward Holland) three brothers married three Critchlow sisters from Sheen, Staffordshire, England. Maternal distaff side are the Kinder family (De Kynder, from Kinder Scout area, High Peak, going back to 1385. See Philip Kinder's book 'Historie of Darbieshire' vol. 788, Duke Humfrey's Library, Bodleian, Oxford, for family tree, written circa early 1600s. Back to the Holland side: this is my direct line, father to son. Samson Holland = Charlotte, (buried Earl Sterndale.) William Holland, (married three times, links to Nottingham 'Fairground Rides' Family.) Albert Holland = Agnes Pickering, (from Sheen, Staffordshire.) Albert William Holland = Lily Morgan (from Sheffield.) Frank Edward Holland = Sarah Bramwell Holland. (from Sheen.) Frank Philip Holland = Kathryn Cartledge (from Sparrowpit.d.1993 = 2.
