Hello Audrey
No idea if we have a family connection way back, but thought I would tell you about a coincidence with names.
I have a direct line back to Sir William Sherrard who was created Baron of Leitrim. Another direct line is Caesar Piguenit a Huguenot who may just have fought at the Battle of the Boyne. He was certainly in Ireland just after and lost his wife and 3 children who are buried in the French Church, Dublin. He then went to England and married the 1st Barons Great Granddaughter.
Best wishes
Stuart Swinden.
