Member Since: October 2004 Posts: 0 Send Message	Jacqueline, This is possibly pure coincidence but my father was Charles Leonard Eldridge and he was in Brisbane from about 1956 until he died in 1972. He had, in 1956, deserted his family responsibilities by walking out on my mother and five children, the youngest a three yearold. Later there was an official divorce. I lost contact with him for some time and he could have done anything but eventually I did meet him again in 1965 and from then on there was no other woman in his life.
