My maiden name was Eileen Stansfield. I was born in Blackpool, Lancashire. My father, Cyril Stansfield, was born in Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire. His father was Arthur Stansfield, born 1885 and lived in the Todmorden area. He moved to work in Blackpool as a joiner about 1921. I am researching this family and have managed to research back to around 1781. I would be interested if anyone is researching this particular part of Yorkshire. Eileen Schofield |
