Member Since: May 2007 Posts: 2 Send Message	My family came from cornwall,My grandfather was called Thomas Ives he also had another brother called William (Bill) he was the minister of St Ives in Cornwall, He was married and had two daughters Christeen and Cathleen I think, My grandfather had two sisters called Francess and Florance, I have no idea when or who first came to Stalybridge in Lancashire but I do know that some relative in the 1800's became the Mayor and my family kept that title for a good few years My grandad married my grandma called Valentina they stayed married till my grandma's death in1975, They had three children, My mother called Margarete Annie, My two uncles one called Kenneth William and Gorden (unsure of his middle name), I do hope there is some connectionto the two families, Even if there is not I would like to hear from you just to know if there is or not.

Member Since: April 2003 Posts: 24 Send Message	Hello There, I am trying to locate my GG granmother .Her husband was Jesse Ives born c1810 in Hornchurch Essex. They had my G grandad David Ives in 1833, whither there were other siblings I dont know.Someone did send me some infomation but I deleted it by mistake,if they read this plese could you resend it .Thank you Doreen
