Looking for info on Walsall / Birmingham Wilkinsons and a Cheshire link: George H. Wilkinson - born in Walsall, west mids approx 1893 to 1894. I am told that George married and moved to Wilmslow, Cheshire, only additional piece to the jigsaw is I believe he had two daughters 1 named Ruth, the other possibly Helen. The Family resided at 1 Rupert Street, Green Lane and Short Street, Walsall, West Mids. George would be my great Uncle, he was the eldest brother of Ethel (born 9.8.1895.) my grandfather Frederick (born 20.1.99) and William (d/b unknown but post 1901 census). I have info regarding Ethel, my gradfather and a little on William. I know the above were the sons / daughter of George Henry Wilkinson (born in Walsall circa 1866) who married Jane Brookes on 14.11 1892 at St Johns Church, Pleck, Walsall. George had a witness Alfred at the wedding (believe a brother born in Birmingham circa 1860), living at Navigation Street Walsall in 1901 census with his father James. Finally, George Henry Wilkinson was the son of James Wilkinson (James was a plater ). James was born in Birmingam circa 1835 and moved to Walsall around 1861. Widowed by 1901 census, living in Navigation Street. His father was also James born in London in 1809 who married Jane born Stourbridge. I have no further info on the London connection, any help would be apprecaited.
