Would like to hear from anyone who is researching the McMurrays of SW Scotland.

Hi Mary

I was going through the 'Looking For' pages on Genes and saw that you were looking for McMurrays from SW Scotland. I have McMurrays in my tree from Ayrshire. My G G grandfather was married to a Douglas McMurray b. around 1820 in Barr, Ayrshire. My G G G grandfather was also married to a McMurray, her name was Mary b. around 1794. I don't know if there is any connection between the 2 women. Is this of any help to you?

Hi,

My Mary was born on the 3rd Sept. 1820 to Andrew Murray and Margaret McMurray. Any relation?
