We are a whole new tribe of Mellings out in NZ decended from Joseph Bernard Melling who lived most of his life in Ribbleton, Preston., through my dad, Gilbert Melling. Mum's family were Walmsleys who also lived in Ribbleton during the 1950s then spreading out mainly in and around Preston localities. I went to school at St Bernards (lea) and St Pats (H.Walton) then Brownedge and later St Cuthbert Maine before going NZ approx 1973
