Tring to find imformation on H.J.Grave,supposedly born in 1861 at GEELONG,VICTORIA. I belive his name to either HENRY or HARRY,he was shipwrecked on KING ISLAND,TASMANIA as a boy of 13 and remained there living with WILLIAM HICKMOTT,the lighthouse keeper and married his daughter. Also seeking imformation on WILLIAM HICKMOTT FATHER of william hickmott(cape wickham lighthouse keeper) all I know is that he was born and died in GRAVESEND,KENT and his wifes name was ROSETTA. |

It has been over 2 years since you posted this and I was wondering if you have found out anything. My mother's name is Esther Graves [Henry Graves granddaught] born on King Island in 1919 and I have some information. |
