I am from John Frederick Duvall b. 3 Dec 1866 in Arenzville, Cass County, IL, who changed his last name to 2 L's before he married Katherine Elizabeth Hansmeyer.
His grandparents were Hanover, Germany natives - with 1 L. His dad, with 1 L, was born in Beardstown, Cass County, IL, and mother Mary Meyer was born in Prussia.
John's dtr Viola Katherine is my paternal gm.
She was born 7 Apr 1895 in Beardstown, Illinois.
John's other 2 dtrs, Pauline Marie and Henrietta are both deceased and leave no family.
