Hello Jacqueline,
I have seen your post is 3 years old and you may already have the infomation now - but a William Edward Cunliffe (husband of a Dorothy and son of Edwin and Minnie Cunliffe of Hythe, Kent) was killed on the 12th June 1943, and is buried at Beverwijk General Cemetery (20km north west of Amsterdam).

Regards,
Paul

My great Grandfather was William Cunliffe, b.1914, died in the war 1943 (an airman), buried abroad somewhere. I only have very sketchy details, he had 2 sons and married Dorothy, who then remarried to Mick Tanner. Does anyone have any info at all? My father was born in Warrington - they were probably from that area
