apparently a long time ago (not quite sure of dates) there was a bishop called richard james poore who had the poore family tree put onto the floor and walls of salisbury catherdral. it is ment to be still there to this date.

Hello Richard

Richard Poore (d April 15 1237) was Bishop of Salisbury Wiltshire (1229-1237) He had a brother Herbert Poore (d 1217 probably 7 Jan ) who also was Bishop ofd Salisbury (1194-1217)
