hello Ian,my g/grandmother was a Clissold from Birmingham Her name was Alice she married Albert Benjamin Busst.alice b.1856 m.1875 moved to Canada abt:1900 so we may be related or not.Alot of Clissolds moved to Australia,but they originated from Stroud Glostershire.E mail me [email protected] |

Hello To all Clissolds Trying to find out about all Clissolds. Only got a far as my grandfather,who i know lived near Hockley in Birmingham, i Know that there is a Street in Hockley in Birmingham Called Clissold Street,Which i think is where he was born, Also have found a Clissold ,who was the first cook for Scott of the Antartic(no less), i have a picture and some information about him Anyone with any Information please E.mail Me Thank you |
