Dear dorothy, I am a decendant of the Ryletts, I believe the name originate from Lincolnshire and the name is derived from the word royalettes, hope this helps. best regards jackie

My fathers name was Rylett he was from Hull his father was a travelling salesman who ended up living in Accrington although i know there was a cousin of that name living in Hull also. Does anyone know where the name originates?
