My mother was Kathleen May Huckerby born June 14, 1932 in Regina Saskatchewan, her parents were Amelia Antoinette Herberholz and
Arthur Darrell Huckerby. He had a brother named Reverend Cyrill Huckerby (Darrell or Darel), whom I met when I was about 16 years old over in Vancouver, BC. I think our family still has some pictures of him in those days, somewhere. Evidently Cyril was the last male in the family able to carry the " Darrell coat-of-arms"..something that I never got to see a copy of. I think that was due to the fact that he was a Reverend, at least that was my understanding. At any rate I believe our Huckerby connections are indeed from Nottinghamshire or thereabouts, descended from a man by the name of Francis with the wooden leg..or so I am told. Thats about all I know.
