Hi I have extensive knowledge of the Thompsons of Harrogate Yorkshire. John Thompson born 1824 and died 1901. He had thirteen children. Only five of them survived into adulthood. If you want to know more or think we may be related please contact me. Regards Lorraine

Hi Lorraine,

I'm trying to find my grandfather and his side of the family. His name was Arthur and he was born in Yorkshire in 1879. He was married and widdowed before he met my grandmother and served in the army in the 1st World war. Towards the end of the war he lodged with and subsequently lived with my grandmother as man and wife, Nellie Milton and had five children. After the war he was a steeplejack. He fell from a train in 1927 and was killed. any information you have would be much appreciated.

Regards
Ray Thompson
