I have just started to trace my maternal side of the family. My grandparents were William Henry Baker and Ethel May Sherwood. Her mother was Minnie Blount born 1870 from Oldbury West Midlands and her father was Samuel Sherwood born 1864 from Great Bridge Staffordshire. Her grandfather was Thomas Blount born 1837 from Langley West Midlands and her grandmother was Sarah Jones born 1836 also from Langley. They had 10 children...Phoebe, Hannah, Sarah, Jane, Thomas Henry, herbert, Walter, thomas and Robert!!! I can't seem to go any further back...is there anyone there who might be linked to this side of the family...thanks JP |
