Adams: My grandmother married John Edwin Rice Adams who was born in Bristol in 1857 and a cabinet maker by profession. His first wife was Kate Stacey whom he married on 8/4/1888 in Watford In 1907 he married my grandmother Bethia Crowe (possibly in Norfolk). They had 3 children, Bessie Irene, Walter Richard (my father) and Arthur James (who only lived for about 12 months). His father was Edwin Rice Adams (born 1828 in Bristol) and his mother was Mary Willcox, and married on 15/7/1854. They also had another son William John Adams, born in 1855 who I am unable to discover anything about. My grandmother Bethia Crowe was born in Sea Palling, Norfolk in 1875. She had sisters, Charlotte Sarah, born 1871 (who married ? Enticknap), Gertrude Alice born 1873, Elizabeth born 1877 (who married Thuringian Cox), and Maud born 1883, there was also a brother - Richard Robert born 1879. If anyone knows anything about my grandmother's brother and sisters I would love to hear from you. I would also like to find out why John Edwin Rice Adams moved across the country from Bristol firstly to marry in Watford and was he widowed or divorced before then marrying my grandmother from Norfolk. Their children were all born in Birmingham. If anyone can fill me in, I would much appreciate it. Thanks.
