Patricia Report 2 Jul 2007 03:11

My name is Patricia McDowall. My husband, John McDowall had an Aunt 'Elsie May (known as May' McDowall marry a 'George Henry Bayley' on March 29, 1947 at St. Matthews Parish Church (C of E) Birkenhead, County of Chester, England. At the time George was 25 years of Age - he would have been born about 1921 or 1922 in that area. After marrying, May and George emigrated to Australia - possibly in the 1950's. John's own family had emigrated to Canada in 1948 - his oldest Sister - Patricia born in 1934 corresponded with this family for a time during the 1970's. All of a sudden the corresponding stopped. Pat died in 1994. Unfortunately I did not decide to take up the family history until last year, 2006.. long after Pat died. If you know of this family or are a part of it, I would really like to hear from you.. Thanks in advance.. Patricia McDowall
