A maternal great grandmother was Annie Goodwin Gillespie born in Greenock,1863. She married Henry Kay Hanson in 1882.

Her parents were John Gillespie and Isabella Fauset.

She had the following siblings.

Margaret Gillespie born in Greenock,1865.
John Gillespie born in Greenock,1867
Thomas Fauset Gillespie born in Greenock,1869.
Sarah Jessie Gillespie born in Grangemouth,1871.
Robert Fauset Gillespie born in South Leith,1874.
William George Gillespie born in Leith,1877.
Lewis McDonald Gillespie born in Leith,1879.
James Gillespie born in Leith,1882
