Member Since: February 2003 Posts: 0 Send Message	My great grandfather, Thomas Stevens, 'married' Esther Herman from London (she is described as his wife on the census returns but I cannot find any record of a marriage). Her parents were Samuel and Esther Herman. Samuel was born around 1833/34 in Vauxhall and his wife Esther was born around 1835 in Ratcliff. Other children were Alice and Mary (and possibly Samuel). Does anyone have any further info on either the Herman or Stevens history?
