Trying to find Odell

Hi I am trying to find information on my paternal grandfathers side of our family. My grandfather, Freddie Odell was the youngest son of George Odell (born in Sheffield Bedfordshire approx. 1864) and Lucy Caroline Gregory (born in Campton Bedfordshire approx. 1865). George and Lucy married in 1884 and were living in in Frosterley in 1901. I am trying to trace the family of George Odell and it appears quite a task as there are so many George Odell's born in the same area around the same time. George & Lucy had children, William, Elizabeth, Florence Annie, George and Freddie, the last two were born in Frosterley, and the eldest three were born in Campton. Both George & Lucy died at Darlington during the 1940's and 1950's. Can anyone help in filling in the gaps. Thanks Margaret |
