HELP! I am trying to find information on my grandfather John M Mackay born, 1903, possibly in Hamilton, Scotland. He married Bessie Rebecca Mackay in 1938 in Woolwich, London and they had 11 children, Phylis, John, Brian, Mary, Jimmy, Jean, Joan, George, Hazel, Kevin & Mandy. His sister or possibly mother was called Aggie or Agnes, and his grandparents were Mr & Mrs William Scobbie of 2B Braidhurst Street, Motherwell, Scotland. Grandmothers maiden name was Agnes Orr Mcdonald, they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on 23rd November 1906. He may have been married beford marrying my grandmother and never divorced!!
