Member Since: June 2007 Posts: 1 Send Message	Looking for any details of a John Bates c1796 a widower. He was born in Byers Green Bishop Auckland. Looks like he moved to Sunderland and was an agricultural labourer. Moved back to Bishop Auckland c1835.He's in the 1841 census and has his mother Margaret Bates living with him and 4 children - John , Thomas, Isabella and Elizabeth Jane. Any help gratefully received
