i am looking for descendents of Lara Williamson who married Alexander Fraser on stronsay, Orkney. As far as I know they had a daughter Moira, son Colin. Colins son, also Colin, was in Orkney earlier this year looking for Wlliamson ancestors in the Orkney Family History office.My maternal grandmother, Mary Anne Williamson (married to Peter McKenzie) was Lara's sister. She died suddenly when she got the news of Lara's death in Ireland in 1937. The Mckenzie family had just moved from St Mary's, Holm to a farm outside Aberdeen. My father and two of his sisters are still alive. |
