Member Since: June 2007 Posts: 0 Send Message	I am trying to find anyone who may know or are related to the Duxbury family of Blackburn.James Duxbury had seven siblings,all born in Brewry Row Blackburn. His father worked in the mill,hi smother dies before Jmaes reached his second birthday.James married Mary (born in Foulridge,on the Lancashire/Yorkshire border and died between 1881-1891).they had four daughters,Fanny was the eldest,followed by Minnie,then Ethel (ettie)and lastly Gertie.After Mary's death, James married a lass (Alice) from Lancaster. All the family was born in Blackburn.James was a prominent member of the Furthergate Congressional Church, and a poet in his own right.He also had his own Letterhead Press shop in Furthergate.James died in 1929 aged 72. Does anyone know any of James's relatives?I'm sure must still have some relations in the Blackburn area.
