Leonard Charles Dominy born c.1875 was my grandfather and I should like to know more about his ancestors. He owned a butcher's shop in Weymouth where he lived, and was married to Alice Mary Croom. His mother lived in Dorchester Road, Weymouth - I don't think I ever knew her name, just great-granny - with her unmarried daughter Nell. I think some-one told me that Leonard was one of seven children but although I spent a lot of my early childhood in his house I find I know virtually nothing about his family. |
