Trying to find Shortland

I am trying to find the parents of my great great great grandmother, Mary Shortland. She married Edward Cogbill in Long Compton, Warwickshire on 10/5/1773 and I guess she was born circa 1750. She does not seem to have been from Long Compton and the name is certainly not local. I know there were branches of the Shortland family not too far away in Warwickshire, Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire and suspect she belongs to one of these. Does anyone have a Mary Shortland born about 1750 - 1753 who just seems to vanish? If so, she could be my granny! Please get in touch. Many thanks, Graham
